Junior Jivers Autumn Social 2022

On Wednesday 9th November, we had our second Junior Jivers social, which was a great success - a chance for the Mums who regularly attend the Friday pre-school music group to meet together 'sans infants' for a proper catch up over drinks and a delicious meal. This time we went to Zizzis and Lucy wonderfully ordered a whole array of dishes, consisting mainly of pizza and pasta, which we all consumed very happily.

The turnout was brilliant, with two full tables the length of the room, roughly 30 in all, about half of which were church regulars. For us, it was a great opportunity to get to know some of the mums who don't attend church a bit better, as well as catch up with church friends.

Jane Flack gave a wonderful testimony which everyone was clearly captivated by: how wonderful the way God has worked through her life, from being a struggling young mum to a strong and faithful Christian lady, who has evidently had a really positive impact on many women's lives through the work she has done over the years.

Our prayer is that Jane's words will stick with those non-churchgoing mums who were there and that we may have a chance to chat further about our individual christian journeys at Junior Jivers. Huge thanks to Lucy for organising such a fun evening and to Jane for speaking to us.
