Church is not a meeting to attend but a community to belong to. We really believe this and hope it's what you experience when you come along
Where does Trinity at Four meet?
We meet at Trinity Church, Church Street, Henley, RG9 1SE
There is limited on-street parking by the church but parking is available in the Henley College staff car park which is roughly a 3 or 4 minute walk from Holy Trinity. You can see it on google maps here.
What happens at the services?
Our services include a mixture of singing together, listening to a talk from the Bible and praying. On the 4th Sunday of each month we also share communion.
Sunday services are simple, relaxed and informal. There is no dress-code, everything is clearly explained, and there’s no pressure to be involved in anything you’d rather not. All are very welcome. Our services are accessible for families, and also for those who are unsure about the Christian faith.
After the service there is a children’s tea, and tea and cake for the adults. This time gives us space to build friendships and share our lives together.
What happens for children?
Children are an important part of our church family at Trinity at Four. We run a creche in a self-contained room within the church building, and groups for 4-14s with age-specific teaching and activities. The primary age groups run at next-door Trinity Primary school and the 11-14s at the vicarage. The kids tea after the service is a highlight for many!
We take Safeguarding very seriously. All our leaders have DBS checks, and you can read our Safeguarding policy here.
What are the timings?
We start at 4pm, but if you're running late don't worry, it's fine to make it along whenever you can. The timings we aim to keep to are:
4pm Start all together at Trinity Church
4:20pm Children head off for their groups
5:00pm Structured service ends: Q&A, prayer, conversation
5:15pm Children return to the church for kids tea
