Farewell to three T@4 families

December 10, 2019

We are sad to be saying goodbye to three of our church families, who have been with the Trinity at Four congregation since it began.  Each family has served the church wonderfully - through kid's work, behind the scenes administration, welcoming, music ministry... -  not to mention through their friendship and love. They will be sorely missed but we are excited for their new adventure ahead. Below are brief reflections of their time at T@4.  Let's be praying for them all as they embark on whatever God has in store for them next.

The Coetsee family - John, Tracy and Clara

Trinity at Four has been our church home since it started in June 2018. We have made really good friends in the Church Family and will be sad to leave for Jersey but also excited for new beginnings. God has opened doors for us every step of the way and John has purchased a dental practice, Tracy’s work is happy for her to continue her role remotely and Clara has been accepted into a lovely school from September. We will have some down time until then with home schooling and the opportunity to travel and visit family. We pray for guidance in finding the right church on Jersey and quick integration into the local community. Thank you for sharing our good times and bad as well as all the love and support you have given our family. We will hold Trinity in our hearts and prayers. We have been blessed. “‘“The Lord bless you and keep you;25 the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you;26 the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”’ - Numbers 6: 24-26

The Reynolds family - Jim, Emma, Jake and Toby

It's been wonderful to be part of Trinity at Four from the beginning, before we even knew where we would meet. It's been great to see God's provision as it's all come together. We've loved being able to do church in our local community, and have enjoyed seeing the church growing and reaching out to people in Henley.

We are moving to Epsom College just before Christmas for Jim to start a new teaching job. Prayers would be appreciated for us to settle in to a new church and preschool for Jake, for us as part of the onsite community at the College, and for Jim to adjust as quickly as possible to a new environment and to be salt and light to the school.

The Clubley-Moore family - Andy, Vicki, Will, Zach and Teddy

Wow, what a year and a quarter it has been for us as part of Trinity@4. We came along to the first weekly service in September 2018, apprehensive, not knowing anyone, on the recommendation of a family we had met briefly in the summer (the lovely Reynolds who are also moving on).

Within a few minutes of arriving we knew God had brought us here and we very quickly settled in. We were at our previous Church for 6 years, always on the sidelines so it was very exciting to be asked to lead Candles and Andy to help with Torches. We got stuck in and I am so glad. Being part of the team has made all the difference. We have felt useful and enjoyed being of service. If you are new to Trinity@4 WELCOME!! Get stuck in with a team, use your strengths and you will soon find yourself feeling part of the furniture. It has been a wonderful opportunity to be a part of the early days of Trinity@4's story and I look forward to seeing where the Church grows to. Because we aren't going far - Andy has a new job working for Adventure Plus, the outdoor sports outreach charity based at Windmill Farm Christian Conference Centre. So next time you come up for a Church Weekend we will be just around the corner!!

Thank you to everyone who makes Trinity@4 possible: the welcome, the children's work, the children's tea and all the Bible based sessions are going to be hard to beat. May God bless you all as you continue in every good work.
