Reflecting on my time as an Intern at Trinity at Four...

Serving at Trinity at Four has been a real joy. One of the greatest highlights has been working with the musicians and singers, learning new Christ-centred songs together, and singing them with the church family on Sundays. Many thanks to Jaco, Vicki, Kryssie, Emily, Frances, Lucy, and George for your enthusiastic service!

There is a beautiful thread that runs throughout all of Scripture – the people of God singing to Him as Creator and Redeemer. We can see this in songs of Moses and Miriam in Exodus 15, in the Psalms, in Colossians 1:15-20, and finally in Revelation. One of the joys of church life is that we get to join in this ancient and future song. God has written us into this musical!

At Trinity at Four, I have really seen Colossians 3:17 lived out: “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly… speak to one another with Psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, sing and make music in your heart to the Lord.”

The music in our services is not just the musicians playing, or the leaders singing at the congregation, but everybody singing to God, and singing to one another, praising God who saved us and encouraging one another to hold fast to the gospel.

Tessa and I would like thank Sam, Lucy, and all the family at Trinity at Four for giving me the opportunity to serve the Lord alongside you. We are sure that God has great things in store for this church family, and we hope to stay in touch.
