Men's Curry Night

On a Thursday evening in June, a dozen men descended on Asiana Spice in Henley town centre for the inaugural Trinity at Four Men’s Curry Night! It was a truly all-age affair, with an even distribution of men in their 30s up to their 60s. Trinity at Four regular attenders comprised about two thirds, with invited friends making up the rest. We were conveniently seated all on one table, enabling people to talk with their nearest neighbours and with those directly opposite; I was pleased to be able to dip in and out of so many interesting conversations! Opting collectively for the ‘set menu’ option, our table was soon replete with dish upon dish of mouth-watering curries, naan breads and daals, washed down with a steady stream of Cobra beer. Shamefully, we were unable to conquer all the food brought out to us. I hope others found the evening as enjoyable as I did, and look forward equally to the next men’s social event!
